Early-childhood education is a stage that contributes to development in emotional and affective areas, physical and motor skills, and social and cognitive abilities of the infants in collaboration with their families. In this environment, we provide the boys and girls with a climate of trust where they feel welcomed to grow and learn.

Structure of the early-childhood stage

This stage is divided into two cycles:

  • 1st cycle: includes ages 0 to 3 years, also called daycare or nursery school.
  • 2nd cycle: from ages 3 to 6 years, called kindergarden.

Both cycles are closely linked, and maintain a relationship of coherence and continuity, which provides the infants with an educational environment that complements their experiences in the family context.

School organization

In the 1st cycle of early-childhood, the school period is from September to July, inclusive.
